BRF GABFEST 6

On Tuesday, the 28th of July 2022, the 6th edition of BRFGabfest executed by the Temple company had yet another successful run.

BRFGabfest is a yearly symposium powered by the Honourable Minister of Power, Works, and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, that provides a forum for the discussion of the pertinent role of youth in Nigeria’s future.

This year’s theme, “What am I voting for?” was virtual and hosted by Mimi Onalaja with a panel of six brilliant speakers, which included Khadija Okunnu-Lamidi (CEO, Slice Media), Tope Atiba (Lawyer/Civil Servant), Ekenedilichukwu Okolie (Founder, STEM Damsel Network), and more, who provided helpful insight into the overarching issue.

As customary, the event concluded with a closing address by the Honourable Minister of Power, Works, and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, who stressed the importance of continually reinventing and improving democracy in light of the rapid pace of societal change. He further pointed out that voting should not be an emotional choice but rather be done out of a sense of duty.

Thank you to everyone who tuned in to #BRFGabfest6. We appreciate your participation and contribution.
